Preventive Care & Wellness
This is the foundation of primary care, aimed at keeping you healthy and catching potential health problems early before they become serious.

- Cardiovascular & Metabolic Risk Assessments: Checking your baseline health risks through EKG, vitals, extensive metabolic blood testing including fasting lipids.
Chronic Disease Management
If you have a long-term medical condition, your PCP acts as the captain of your care team to keep the condition stable and prevent complications.
- Diabetes Care: Tracking your long-term blood sugar levels (A1C), counseling you on nutrition, managing insulin or oral medications, and performing routine foot or nerve checks.
- Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) Management: Monitoring blood pressure trends, prescribing and adjusting medications, and recommending dietary modifications (like lowering sodium intake).

- Thyroid disorders: Managing under or overactive thyroid disease with medication and blood test monitoring
Acute Care for Illness & Injury
When you wake up feeling sick or suffer a minor injury, your PCP’s office is often a faster, more affordable alternative to an urgent care clinic or emergency room.
- Infections: Diagnosing and treating sudden infections, such as bronchitis, sinus infections, earaches, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and skin rashes.
- Seasonal Illnesses: Providing treatment plans and supportive care for the flu, strep throat, common colds, stomach bugs, and seasonal allergies.
- Minor Injuries: Evaluating and treating minor physical mishaps, including sprains, strains, minor cuts that may need basic stitching or glue, and mild burns.
Specialist Referrals & Care Coordination
Your PCP looks at your health from a “whole-picture” perspective. When a problem requires highly specialized knowledge, they act as your navigator.
- Targeted Specialist Referrals: Assessing your symptoms to determine if you need to see a specialist (such as a cardiologist for heart concerns, a gastroenterologist for digestive issues, or a dermatologist for skin conditions).
- Medical Information Sharing: Ensuring your medical records, lab results, and imaging scans are securely sent to the specialist so you don’t have to repeat tests.
- Medication Reconciliation: Reviewing any new medications prescribed by a specialist to make sure they do not conflict or cause dangerous interactions with your current prescriptions.
