Practice Philosophy
At Primary Addiction Medicine Care of Connecticut (PAMCC), our mission is to provide safe, confidential, and evidence-based outpatient treatment for addiction. We specialize in the care of individuals with opioid dependence and alcohol use disorder, offering compassionate support at every stage of recovery.
Our Approach
We follow a biopsychosocial model, addressing the biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction. Our care is grounded in a harm-reduction philosophy, meaning we meet patients where they are and support progress at a sustainable pace.
Our primary goal is to help patients achieve stability through Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) while providing ongoing medical guidance throughout their recovery journey.
